GAF Certified Plus Contractor
We're in the top 3% of roofing contractors in North America. Our GAF Certified Plus status means your roof is installed by factory-trained crews and backed by the industry's strongest warranty protection.
What GAF Certified Plus Means for You
GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer, and their Certified Plus program is the highest level of recognition they offer to roofing contractors. Earning this status requires meeting strict requirements that most contractors don't qualify for — and maintaining those standards year after year.
For homeowners, choosing a GAF Certified Plus contractor means three things: expert installation by factory-trained crews, access to the best warranty coverage in the industry, and confidence that your contractor has been vetted for licensing, insurance, and reputation.
Requirements We Meet
- Licensing & Insurance: We maintain all required state and local licenses, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage — verified annually by GAF.
- Factory Training: Our installation crews complete GAF's training programs covering proper installation techniques for every component in the GAF roofing system.
- Proven Track Record: GAF verifies our reputation through customer reviews, complaint history, and years of consistent quality work.
- Ongoing Education: We participate in continuing education to stay current with new products, building codes, and best practices.
- Financial Stability: GAF evaluates our business stability to ensure we'll be here to honor our commitments for years to come.
Enhanced Warranty Coverage
The biggest tangible benefit of working with a GAF Certified Plus contractor is access to warranty coverage that non-certified contractors cannot offer:
- Golden Pledge Limited Warranty: Up to 50 years on materials, 25 years on workmanship — including tear-off and disposal if a manufacturing defect is found. This is GAF's strongest residential warranty.
- Silver Pledge Limited Warranty: Lifetime materials coverage plus 10 years of workmanship coverage with tear-off provisions.
- System Plus Limited Warranty: Enhanced coverage when a complete GAF roofing system (shingles, underlayment, starter strips, ridge caps, ventilation) is installed together.
Non-certified contractors can only offer GAF's standard material warranty, which does not include workmanship coverage or tear-off provisions. The difference in protection is significant.
