Directorii offers two tiers of coverage. The Basic guarantee is included at no extra cost when you book with a listed contractor. The Full guarantee provides comprehensive protection for larger projects and requires registration at Directorii.com.

The Basic guarantee covers deposit protection, contractor fraud, and contractor bankruptcy — up to $30,000. It applies automatically when you book a project with a Directorii-listed contractor and have a Directorii homeowner account. There is no additional cost to you.
What does the Full ($250,000) guarantee cover?
The Full guarantee includes everything in the Basic tier plus code & manufacturer non-compliance, workmanship protection, and material & product defects — up to $250,000. It requires the project to be registered on Directorii.com and costs 1% of the total contract value.
How much does the Full guarantee cost?
The Full guarantee is priced at 1% of the contract value. For example, a $20,000 roofing project would cost $200 for the Full $250,000 guarantee. That’s a small premium for significant peace of mind, especially on larger projects.
How do I activate the guarantee on my project?
For the Basic guarantee, simply create a homeowner account on Directorii.com — coverage is automatic when you hire a listed contractor. For the Full guarantee, the project must be registered at Directorii.com before work begins. We can walk you through the process during your estimate.
