Trained on the details

What James Hardie Elite
Means for You

James Hardie is the world's largest manufacturer of fiber cement siding, and their Alliance contractor program recognizes the installers who set the standard for how their products should be installed. Alliance Elite is the top tier — a designation earned by fewer contractors than any other James Hardie credential.

As a James Hardie Alliance Elite Contractor, we have met James Hardie's most rigorous requirements for factory training, installation volume, and customer satisfaction — and we're verified against those standards on an ongoing basis. This isn't a one-time credential; we have to earn it every year.

For homeowners, Elite status means two things: you're working with a contractor whose skills have been independently vetted at the highest level, and your installation qualifies for extended warranty protection that standard contractors cannot offer.

Enhanced Warranty Coverage

  • 30-Year Non-Prorated Product Warranty: Full coverage against manufacturing defects for the life of the warranty — not pro-rated or reduced over time as it is with lower-tier installations.
  • 15-Year ColorPlus Finish Warranty: James Hardie's factory-applied paint finish is warranted against fading, peeling, and cracking for 15 years — significantly longer than any field-applied paint could be.
  • Installation Workmanship Guarantee: In addition to manufacturer warranties, we back every installation with our own 5-year craftsmanship guarantee covering all labor and workmanship.

Built for this climate

Why James Hardie for Colorado?

Colorado’s climate is one of the harshest for exterior building materials. James Hardie fiber cement is engineered specifically for these conditions.

Hail Resistant

Fiber cement withstands hail impacts that crack vinyl and dent aluminum. It’s rated for impact resistance far beyond other siding materials.

Fire Resistant

Non-combustible and fire-rated — critical in Colorado’s wildfire-prone Front Range foothills and mountain communities like Evergreen and Golden.

Moisture & Rot Proof

Unlike wood, fiber cement doesn’t absorb water, swell, or rot. It handles Colorado’s freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or warping.

UV Stable

Colorado’s intense high-altitude UV fades and degrades vinyl and wood siding rapidly. James Hardie’s ColorPlus finish is baked-on at the factory and resists fading for 15+ years.

Insect Proof

Fiber cement is inedible to termites, carpenter ants, and woodpeckers — common problems with wood siding in Colorado.

How we install it

Our James Hardie Installation Standards

Factory-Trained Crews

Every installer on our siding team has completed James Hardie’s official training program covering handling, cutting, fastening, and finishing.

Proper Gapping

We install with manufacturer-specified gaps at all joints, trim intersections, and around penetrations to allow for thermal expansion — a detail many uncertified contractors get wrong.

Flashing Integration

We integrate head flashing, kick-out flashing, and drip edges at every window, door, and roofline intersection per James Hardie specifications.

Touch-Up & Sealing

All cut edges and fastener heads are sealed and touched up with James Hardie-approved paint to maintain warranty coverage and prevent moisture wicking.

Questions, answered

James Hardie Elite FAQ

What is a James Hardie Alliance Elite Contractor?

Alliance Elite is James Hardie's highest contractor designation — awarded to the top tier of installers who have met the most rigorous standards for training, installation volume, and verified customer satisfaction. Very few contractors nationally reach Elite status, making it a meaningful differentiator when choosing a siding contractor.

How is Elite different from Preferred?

James Hardie's Alliance program has multiple tiers. Elite is the top level, requiring a higher volume of James Hardie installations, more comprehensive training, and a stronger track record of customer satisfaction scores than the Preferred tier. Elite contractors also unlock access to enhanced warranty options that Preferred contractors cannot offer.

What warranty does an Elite Contractor installation qualify for?

Because we are a James Hardie Alliance Elite Contractor, your installation qualifies for James Hardie's extended warranty coverage — including the 30-year non-prorated product warranty and the 15-year ColorPlus factory-finish color warranty. These enhanced warranties are only available through Elite-tier installers and provide significantly stronger protection than standard contractor warranties.

What James Hardie products do you install?

We install the full James Hardie product line: HardiePlank lap siding, HardieShingle siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieTrim boards, and HardieSoffit panels. All products are available in James Hardie's ColorPlus factory-finished colors for a durable, consistent look.

Why does installer certification matter for fiber cement siding?

Fiber cement requires specific installation techniques — precise gapping for thermal expansion, correct fastener placement and depth, flashing integration around all penetrations, and careful cutting to prevent edge cracking. Improper installation voids the warranty and causes premature failure. James Hardie tests and verifies Elite contractors against all of these details.
